Design Flows is a mobile UI design contest sponsored and organised by Bending Spoons; a company who create cutting-edge technologies and products through mobile apps.

The Design Flows 2025 brief was to design an app that allows lunar settlers to manage their Hexabots easily and efficiently. The app should enable users to assign tasks, monitor progress, and receive important updates quickly and with minimal effort.

For this project, I had to submit a set of designs optimised for a modern smartphone. Even though the concept is futuristic, the designs had to remain realistic and achievable on a 2025 smartphone.

My submission included two main parts:

First, a detailed wireflow that maps out the full user journey for managing the Hexabots. This had to clearly show the logic, key interactions, usability, and overall functionality of the app. It needed to be thorough enough to act as a blueprint for a prototype, with minimal placeholder content.

Second, I had to select three key screens from the wireflow and design them in high fidelity. These screens needed to demonstrate a polished, pixel-perfect UI, using appropriate colours, imagery, and media to communicate the design effectively.
